Corporate and Consultancy

Recent commissions have included individual paintings, groups of paintings and collections made up of work painted with a specific building in mind. Sometimes a single painting may be sufficient to bring life to a living or working environment, but at other times a group of paintings may be best arranged to link the areas within a working space so that one 'talks to another' across the room, creating an overall harmony.

Recent larger commissions have included: the St John Ambulance headquarters in Western Australia, Gallery Hotel in Singapore, Pier One Hotel in Sydney (Carmel Burns / Tony Smibert collaboration), the Salter Constructions offices in Melbourne, the Holman Clinic at Launceston General Hospital and various others, including a number of medial clinics and many private homes.

St John Ambulance

St John Ambulance Collection, Ambulance Headquarters Western Australia

Located in Perth W.A., the ambulance headquarters plays an important role in the life of a large part of Australia. It houses people whose workdays are often demanding and stressful.  The Art Collection had to be both optimistic and calming to the spirit.  The hanging was arranged and coordinated by Lyn Derham - W.A. representative of Smibert Gallery.  The Collection includes large acrylics, around fifty original watercolours and one hundred gyclee prints throughout the building.
